This project for the Manhattan Classic Car Club started out simple and became complicated very quickly. Mostly due to my ambition, the size of the wall, and the technical problems of a horrible surface to paint on. I ended up visiting a famous graffiti artist, Logan Hicks, to pick his brain about how to get things done. I collected a few assistants and we covered the 10'x65' wall with several of the club's cars, a dog of one of the owners and some of my favorite subject matter. Human figure and industrial back grounds. |
