I went north of NYC this weekend for a day trip. Came home and painted until 4:30 in the morning. Painting late is a normal thing of late. This is a series of stopping points where I remembered to take a picture. Each picture represents at least one espresso. Spent a little over 2 hours painting Delysia LaChatte today. Such a luxury to have a live body in front of me the whole time I painted! I try to enjoy the success I have in art with trips, the cars and scotch. This past weekend I rented a nice '00 BMW M5 and zipped up to Ithaca, NY to hang with my buddy Steve and his family and friends. The excuse was a Pirate Party at his friend, Cezar's, place. Not quite sure of his spelling but let's go with that until I know. Cezar built a boat/mini cabin/clubhouse structure in his back yard. He also has a fire pit near by and we cooked food on the fire and ate stew as we were dressed as pirates and did many shots of rum, because pirates drink rum!
