It's been crunch time since May. Now it is just compress and break time. More to come after I shoot the paintings once the gold leaf has been applied.
Molly walked infront of the painting she posed for in one of my painting shirts. Molly passes Molly. It's interesting. Focus on painting every day, becoming absorbed in the process. One minute everything is a masterpiece the next it's multi colored shit. I've learned through the years that this is just the process. Through the normal course of a day you don't scrutinize something quite as intensely as a painting as you are making it. I'll walk down the street stumbling stepping in dog shit because I didn't notice. But creating a painting? Now that is scrutiny. There are few things as intense as creating a painting. I've almost jumped out of my skin as Molly simply walked in to the studio to ask me something. I've been staring way too long at these paintings. My brain is going mush. At least I have an excuse this time. R.J. Huneke made my website work. He made the special preview box work on my site and generally babysat me through getting my site to look like I wanted. He also writes. His book just got picked up by a publisher. Check out the book trailer at his site http://www.cyberwarseries.com and the publisher has the book on their site Pentian.com. It's nice to work with great people. I recommend always work with the best! |
