Show is coming along nicely. Still blocking in this one. Molly posed for this so of course I get a critique every 5 minutes. She hasn't burnt it up so far. So good?
My friend Roggie came to pose and show me her latest paintings Thursday. I had planned for Friday but she was knocking on my door via text soo... She was her usual awesome self and Molly took time from her 100+ emails to answer and an emergency "core breach" with a publisher to give Roggie's art a look and some advice. I Then drew some horrible figure drawings of her. I haven't been figure drawing for a few monthes due to work and I was rusty!
I blocked in a painting, hit the gym, and came home and finished up another painting.
Then on to doing as much of an ongoing illustration job. Who needs sleep? Well, I do. I'm jealous of Roggie since she still seemed to be functioning on zero sleep in over two days.
Illustration for a client. Earlier in the day/ evening. Actually TWO illustrations. The Week Magazine and Wall Street Journal. WSJ was started and finished the same day. The Week started one day earlier, finished early evening.
Not much going on in December. Just hunkering down for the winter and enjoying my friends and family. Hope you are as well!
Please look over the Prints page and get them all.
Have a good Easter/Passover or month.
Now is a good time to commission a portrait or purchase some physical art for the winter!
If you'd like to commission me for a painting... Portraits with my surreal aesthetic only. The face you have and my paint brushes! Estimated turnaround 3 months. Shorter will cost more. Contact me now.
