I had a birthday yesterday. Molly, scotch, and cigars. Just woke up. ... Of course it was great!
Stopped in to a regular hangout last night after my workout. They had a florescent light on right by the corner where I usually sit. It must have been an extra light they turn on so they can clean, but it was brighter than usual and so I could actually see what I was drawing. I thought I'd get visitors who would be curious to see what I was doing because it was almost like drawing in a spotlight. My usual move it to wear dark clothes, don't say anything to anyone, and try to hide in the corner back to the wall with the menu and napkins as a barrier between the rest of the bar and me. Once in a while a curious drunk person will wander over but everyone has been polite. I'm in a bar so why would I not be social?
I was left alone in my florescent spot light to my thoughts, sketchpad, and whiskey. |
